    As the head of the Private Equity Solutions Group, Roger serves an elite clientele, including top-tier private equity, alternative asset management, and family office firms globally. His strategic base is in the Moelis & Company office located in West Palm Beach, Florida. His professional path includes pivotal roles at Morgan Stanley, where he led the Global Financial Sponsors Group, and significant positions at SG Cowen and Gleacher & Co., establishing him as a critical figure in the financial sector. His career journey commenced at PaineWebber Incorporated, setting the foundation for his future successes.

     

    His academic achievements include a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Amherst College, equipping him with the critical insights and knowledge necessary for his distinguished career.

     

    Parallel to his eminent career in finance, Hoit is also recognized for his remarkable accomplishments in golf. An esteemed amateur golfer, his participation extends to over 25 National Championships under the governance of the USGA and the Royal & Ancient, including competing in three "Major Championships": the United States Senior Open Championships of 2015 and 2019 and the British Senior Open Championship in 2017.

     

    The year 2022 witnessed Roger competing at the U.S. Senior Amateur at the Kittansett Club and the British Senior Amateur at the Royal Dornoch Golf Club in Scotland. His recent return from South Korea as a member of the victorious United States team at The Bridges Cup highlights his international acclaim. This bi-annual event showcases elite amateur golfers from the U.S. facing off against a comparably skilled International team, underscoring his significant role in the sport.

     

    Roger Hoit's participation in prestigious Amateur Invitational tournaments around the world further cements his reputation in the golfing community. His engagements at events such as The Crump Cup at Pine Valley Golf Club, The George Thomas Invitational at LACC, and The Coleman at Seminole Golf Club, among others, showcase his competitive spirit and skill, making him a distinguished figure in both the realms of finance and golf.
